Fellowship and Prayer

As a member or friend of CPC you can join a Mariner Ship. These are small groups within the larger body of the church that meet periodically to share experiences and support each other. Mariner “scuttlebutt” can be found in every issue of the monthly Mission Bell newsletter.

Other opportunities include:

Music Groups

Music teaches spiritual lessons and binds us together. You can:

  • Help lead congregational singing
  • Play in the handbell choir
  • Share special music
  • Work with children and youth as they lead in worship

Stephen Ministry

If you or someone you know is going through a difficult time, consider asking for a Stephen Minister. CPC’s trained, caring Stephen Ministers will listen and walk alongside you through life’s challenges. Contact one of our Stephen Leaders or call the confidential line 916-486-0604 for more information.

CPC’s Stephen Ministers are available for individual prayer following each worship service.

If you have ever thought about becoming a Stephen Minister, or if you would like to know more about how to talk to people going through a life crisis, ask about Stephen Ministry training.
